Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are the check in/check out times?

You can check in and have access to your apartment from 2pm Monday – Friday, 3pm Saturday and Sunday. Check out is at 10am. (Late check out charge applies - £25.00)


2. Is parking available on site?

There is a main car park serving the Club, Hotel and Leisure Complex. There is level access to Club Reception. There are 2 marked disabled car parking spaces for blue badge holders, available on a first come first served basis.


3. Can car parking spaces be allocated to each apartment?

Unfortunately, the car park does not have the space to accommodate allocated spaces. All spaces are available on a first come first served basis, including the disabled spaces. There is an over flow car park by the North Lodge if the main car park is full.


4. Do you have recycling facilities?

Yes, our main refuse is all recycled. We use a main contracted company that separate all refuse from the main bins which are located outside the main Club entrance and over to the right. Please be assured that all the refuse is collected and recycled. More information is provided on this facility in your welcome folder.


5. How are the apartments allocated?

The apartments are allocated by your Exchange Company. The majority of our apartments are owned all year round and our owners may choose to use their apartment or deposit with an Exchange Company. Their apartment then becomes available to exchange guests who are looking to stay at The Passage House Club. Our owners may deposit with any exchange company they wish, such as RCI, Dial an Exchange, UKRE etc. We also rent any of our units which are not owned.


6. Do all the units have a bath?

All units have baths with overhead showers.


7. Can we have an estuary facing unit?

As the apartments are allocated by your Exchange Company, we cannot guarantee the apartment will be estuary facing. You can contact us direct to check your allocation and, if you do require front facing and we have the availability, we may be able to upgrade you at a fee. Allocations for RCI points are not available until 4 weeks prior to your arrival date. We will not be able to give you information until that time.


8.Are the units non-smoking?

Yes, Smoking is not permitted in the apartments, Hotel or indoor public areas. You can smoke on patios or from balconies where these are available.


9. Is Wi-Fi available in the apartments/lodges?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available at the cost of £9.95 per week in the apartments and lodges. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Club Reception or Hotel Reception areas. (NB: Guests renting the apartments have free Wi-Fi as it is included within the rental fee).


10. Do the apartments have balconies or patios?

Only a few of our apartments overlooking the estuary have a patio or balcony. Please check your allocation with us.


11. Are the units dog friendly?

Yes, all our apartments are dog friendly. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing your dog with you, charges apply and there is a Dog Agreement Form to complete on arrival. (Please note that Dogs are not allowed in any of the Hotel areas, however, dogs are welcome in the Passage House Inn bar area only).


12. Do the apartments have baths/showers?

All the apartments have baths with overhead showers.


13. Is there an enclosed garden attached to the dog friendly units?

No, although some of our estuary facing apartments do have a patio or balcony.


14. What kitchen facilities are there in the units?

All our one and two bedroom units have a four ring hob, full oven, microwave, under worktop fridge with freezer compartment. Crockery and utensils are provided. The South Lodge one bedroom units also have a dishwasher.


15.Do you have disabled apartments?

The Club does not have disabled apartments, however, we do have some units that are disabled access friendly and there is a lift to all floors. If you are disabled, please contact us as some apartments have stairs. All apartments have a bath with overhead shower.


16. Are towels and linen provided?

Yes. Towels are provided for each person occupying the apartment. Please let us know if you have guests and we can provide extra towels for you. Towels for the leisure club are also provided in your apartment. Towels will be changed on Wednesday if you are staying with us for one week from Saturday. Otherwise, towels are changed on the fourth day of your stay with us.


17. Is there a welcome pack in the apartment?

No. However, teabags, coffee sachets and milk cartons are provided on arrival. We can now offer you the chance to hire bath sheets or robes or both. These are chargeable and will be changed during the week with the other towels provided in the apartment. Please contact us to order.


18. Are there are any further charges?

Our exchange guests will pay a standard weekly utilities charge of £25. We charge £25 for the Saturday – Tuesday timeshare guest and £30 for the Tuesday – Saturday guest who comes through RCI Points. If we did not charge this, we couldn’t accept midweek UK points exchanges.


19. What does the utility charge cover?

This covers the cost of electricity, towels and linen which we provide, and use of the leisure facilities.


20. Can we use the pool and gym facilities?

Yes, all the leisure facilities are available to all our guests. The Leisure Club is open from 8am to 9pm everyday.


21. How can we rent out an apartment?

If an apartment is not owned for a particular week of the year, this apartment belongs to Passage House and we are therefore able to rent the apartment to the general public. Alternatively, please contact us direct at Passage House Club for availability and prices, 01626 357100.


22. Do you have studio apartments?

Yes, we have two studio apartments.
