We can’t think of a better place to celebrate books, reading and writing, than the holiday home of Agatha Christie. A changing daily programme of workshops, talks and activities will explore the literary heritage of Greenway, with a children's book week in the May half term, followed by a week exploring crime writing and other genres. Booking not needed, free event. Normal admissions apply
Saturday 25th May – Dawlish street Market and Fun Day
The Strand Street Market & Lawn Fun day. The Strand will be filled with an array of stall and there will be entertainment throughout the day on the Lawn and in the Strand lots of free activities including face painting and circus skills workshops.
Saturday 25th May & Sunday 26th May – Brixham Heritage sailing regatta
The Brixham Heritage Sailing Regatta has its roots in the Sailing Trawler races that have been held in Torbay since the early 1800’s. In 1914, King George V presented the Perpetual Challenge Cup also popularly known as the 'King George V Cup.
Sunday 26th May – Spring family dog show
Show off your prized pooches and enjoy an action-packed day of family fun at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon.
The Spring Family Dog Show kicks-off the sanctuary's exciting programme of events for its 50th Anniversary year, so expect it to be even bigger and better!
